Dear Grade Fives!

          This blog is Part One of two. You will complete Part Two next week.

We have been goal setting and have just completed term one. Today, I would like you to reflect on the areas you think are interfering with your academic success. For example, you might notice that you seem to miss important information about assignments, or that you always have work unfinished, or that you often need to fix your handwriting.

         In a paragraph, please tell me about areas that are making academic success more difficult or unpleasant for you. Remember that your first sentence is your promise sentence. Be sure that you keep all specific information for your support sentences. Remember, I am expecting a well-crafted paragraph.

To help ensure that your response is ready to post, please

1) Read over your response to ensure that it makes sense.

2) Use spell-check to help you with your spelling.

3) Listen to your blog.

4) Use the checklist to help ensure that your paragraph uses the correct conventions.

These tools are intended to make it easier for you to complete a writing assignment successfully. Take advantage of them.
