The Human Body

Dear Grade Fives!

Just as you did last week, you will take two days to complete your response.
Today: In Science, you have been learning about how the human body works. In a complete paragraph, please tell me what you have learned so far.
Tomorrow, you will edit your response and have a peer edit it as well. When you have made all of your corrections, you will post it. When it is ready, you will copy your blog and post it as usual. You may want to have two windows open side-by-side, one with the blog letter and one being your word document.

Just a reminder that a paragraph contains:
    a)  topic (promise) sentence: what you promise to tell the reader about
    b) at least three support sentences (at least): specific examples or details about your topic
    c)  concluding sentence: where you remind the reader what you promised to tell the reader

Love, Mrs. French

We are now learning about the respiratory system. The trachea is a part in your respiratory system it is like a flap that closes when you eat or drink. The trachea is also called a windpipe. There is also an Addams apple that makes your voice change like make it really low or really high. All people have the Addams apple not just boys but people say that boys have a larger one. The Addams apple is also called a voice box. There is a right lung and a left lung the lungs have a thing called a lobe the left lung has two lobes an upper lobe and a lower lobe. The right lung has three lobes an upper lobe a middle lobe a lower lobe. The air (oxygen) goes in to your lungs and comes out. If you put on the x-ray glasses and look at the lungs you will see a thing called a bronchial tree it is just like an upside down tree. If you go in really far you will see little sacks called alveoli. That is what I know about the respiratory system.

  2. What I know about the human body
We are learning about the respiratory system. What I learned about the system so far is that you breathe in oxygen through your nose or mouth. After that the air goes down the trachea and in the trachea there is flaps, that flap closes when you eat or drink. Next the air goes down to your lungs. You have two lungs a right lung and left lung. The right lung has three lobes and the left lung has two lobes. The lobes are the parts in your lungs that separate the lungs. This is what I know so far about the human body.

The human body. We have been learning about the respiratory system. The oxygen goes through your mouth or nose and goes through your throat to the Adam’s apple (voice box), down the trachea and into your lungs. On the right side there is an upper lobe, middle lobe, and a lower lobe. Over your lungs there are ribs. From your left a little bit of the heart is peaking out. The “floor” is the diaphragm the ribs are the wall. On the inside of your lungs it looks like trees turned upside down we call these bronchial trees. At the end of the bronchial trees there are little air pockets then there is a nerve where the blood goes up and the air takes a U turn and gets all the waste and carbon dioxide out. This is what I have learned about the human body.

What I have learned so far is mostly about respiratory system. I learned how air gets from the outside world into our body. You take a deep breath of air and it goes in through your mouth and then you take another breath and this time you take the breath through your nose, it goes in and then they meet up in the back of the throat and then they go into the Adams apple and I learned that not only men have it girls have it too, some people call the Adams apple the voice box. So once the breath gets through the Adams apple they go down the trachea and goes down into the lung area, the lugs may seem very similar but they are different. The left lobe has 2 lobes the upper lobe and the lower lobe. The right lung has 3 lobes the upper lobe the middle lobe and the lower lobe. When when the breath of fresh air hits the lugs it helps them get stronger and when you smoke your lungs get damaged, there is the ribs the ribs go around you lungs and protect them, then to end your body there is a big muscle and it is called the diaphragm, and our lungs are not just empty air pockets they have these things in them they look like upside down bronchial trees, they are different colours an example of the colours are purple, green, orange.
That is what I have learned so far

We have learned about the respiratory system. In the respiratory system the mouth and the noise breathe in air. The air meets in the back of the throat. The Adam’s apple an author name for it is the voice box. The Trachea goes down the throat and split up to the to lungs. The right lung as upper lobe middle lobe and the lower lobe. The left lung as only two lobes the upper lobe lower lobe. The heart is peeking out the left lung. Diaphragm is the floor to the room. This is what we learned in science.

    The human body is cool

I learned that you only half 25 seconds for the blood to flow. Also there is a little spot where the heart is in between the left and right lungs. Also men half Adams apples the girl’s half smaller Adams apples then girls. Also when you breathe out it’s called exhaling. If you breathe in its called inhale. You half an alveoli. The Human Body is so awesome.

So far I have learned about the respiratory system the respiratory system is when you breathe in throw your nose your mouth you will get oxygen and carbon dioxide. It will go down your trachea beside your Adams apple if you where trying to find your Adams apple just feel for a little notch and your Adams apple is right beside it. It will go into your lung and inside your lungs there is the bronchial tree and that is where the air travels. The right lung has three lobes the upper lobe a middle lobe lower lobe. Under your lungs there is a muscle that holds the lung. The air goes into the alveoli and it holds the oxygen and pushes the carbon dioxide back out the mouth or the nose and that is what I learned about the human body.

I have learned about the respiratory system. One of the main parts of the respiratory system is the trachea. The trachea is this windpipe that has this flap of skin that is open when you are breathing. And is closed when you are eating or drinking. Before the air hits the trachea it hits the atoms apple. Where your voice is maid. The Human Body.

  10. What I learned about the human body
I learned about the respiratory system. The respiratory system takes in oxygen and breaths out carbon dioxide. It includes trachea, Addams apple, lungs, diaphragm muscle, bronchial tree, and aveoli. First we breathe in carbon dioxide. It travels down the trachea and into the lungs. Where it travels down the bronchial tree into the aveoli. The aveoli filters the carbon dioxide into oxygen. Then we exhale carbon dioxide. It all starts again when we breathe again. That is what we learned about the respiratory system.

I learn so fare the respiratory system. Is a thing that makes us breath?
When you breathe in it goes in to your respiratory system. Then when you breathe out its carbon dioxide. The thing that you use to swallow is called the trachea and the lump on your trachea is called the Adams apple it’s called that because Adam is a boys name boys have bigger ones usury girls have smaller ones. The lungs and the heart sits on the muscle the rip cag is your walls to holed your lungs hart the right lungs have a lower lob a middle lop and the upper lob the left lug has upper lob a lower lob

I am learning about the human body in science. I am learning about the respiratory system. I learnt you breathe 20 thousand breaths a day. You need nutrients food water to Stay alive. The body needs water to get rid of waste. Trachea is under the Adams apple .Boys have Adams apples girls have them to but they are smaller .I am learning about the human body.

In science we are learning about the human body. I have learned a lot about the human body. We are learning about the respiratory system. We learned about how the lungs work and what is inside. First we breathe in oxygen. It goes in your mouth or nose and goes to your Adams apple. The Adams apple is also a voice box. Then it goes through your trachea and in your lungs. The left lung has two lobes and the right lung has three lobes. The air travels through the bronchial tree; it has a bunch of branches with little air sacs that give the blood oxygen. Then we exhale and carbon dioxide comes out. That is what I know about the human body

First, if you breathe through your nose and your mouth it meets up in the back of your throat. There is also an Adams Apple and by the Adams Apple there is a notch. The other name for the Adams Apple is the voice box. There is also a Diaphragm its job is to keep all the lungs and heart and staff like that in. The Diaphragm muscle is important because it is the floor for all the things inside. These are all the things we have learned now.

I have been learning about the Respiratory System. The Respiratory System is made up of lungs, Alveoli in the lungs, Trachea, diaphragm the Adams apple and ribs. The cardiac notch is a dent in your lung where your heart sticks out and sits in the dent. The right lung is made up of three lobes and the left has only two lobes because it has the notch. If you where to put on some x-ray glasses you would see Alveoli in the lungs they take in the air then pushes it back out and then the air turns around and you breathe out carbindioxid. There is also a diaphragm that keeps everything from falling down to your feet. The ribs are very important to the Respiratory System because they protect the lungs, heart diagram. There is also trachea. The tracheas helps the oxygen travel down to the lungs and helps the carbine dioxide out. This is all I have learned about the Respiratory System now. Thanks for reading ;)

We have been learning a bout the human body.
There is a diaphragm that we call it a floor of are bottom of you. respiratory system. The ribs are your wall we have an Adams apple
There is a bronchial.Tree in your lungs also you have upper lobe an
A lowe lobe and a middle lobe we have a Tracy a in are throat .

We are learning about the Repertory system. Everyone has an Adams apple even woman. Your Repertory system is made up of lungs, diaphragm, trachea, cardiac notch. The cardiac notch is a dent in your left lung where you heart is. Your lungs have lobes the left lung has tow lobes upper lobe and lower lobe. Your right lung has three lobes upper lobe middle lobe and lower lobe. In your lungs you have a bronchial tree the air travels throw the bronchial tree to the alveoli it makes a turn and goes out. You breathe in oxygen and breath out carbon dioxide. THANKS FOR LISTING

We have been learning about the respiratory system. Boys have bigger Adams apple then girls and that girl have 1 more rib then boys do. There are a trachea, oxygen, wind pipe, lunges; carbon dioxide diaphragm each time you breathe air containing a gas called oxygen is drawn into the body. Tiny hair in the nose to keep the germ and dust out. If you where to put on some x-ray glasses you would see Alveoli in the lungs they take in the air then pushes it back out and then the air turns around and you breathe out carbon dioxide. There is also a diaphragm that keeps everything from falling down to your feet. The ribs are very important to the Respiratory System because they protect the lungs, heart diagram. I’m learning about the respiratory system. Each time we breathe in the trachea moves up and the ribs are attached so they also move up and the air goes in and the lungs expand. The oxygen gets sucked out of the carbon dioxide .When the air gets sucked the carbon dioxide goes back out the trachea and the lungs expand .That’s what I learned.

The human body has two lungs. If you put x ray glasses on you will see the bronchial tree. In the left lung there is the upper and lower lob and in the right lung there is the upper, middle and lower lob. The lungs releases carbon dioxide and breath in oxygen that circulates though the blood stream. You breath 20000 breaths in a day . There is a flap that keeps food from going into the windpipe. In your throat there is a atoms apple. Every one has an Atoms apple.

What I learned about the human body is the respiratory system. I learned: that when we breathe in its called inhaling and when we breathe out it’s called exhaling. Also I learned that the Adam’s apple makes your voice really high or low. I also learned that the diaphragm moves up when you breathe in and down when you breathe out. I also learned that at the end of the bronchial tree there are sacs of air called alveoli.

This is what we are learning in science. Boys have bigger atoms apples then girls. The ribs are the wall of the respitoriy system. Our right lung has an upper lobe and a middle lobe lower lobe our left lung has an upper lobe and a lower lobe. Inside of our lungs we have little avioli sacks that take the oxygen and terns them in to red blood cells. We have little nose hears that clean the air so are lungs don’t take the dirt in to are avioli. We have a daiphiam in the bottom of our respitoriy system it helps push up the carbon dioxide out of are system. This is what I have leant in science
    Thanks for reading
