  1. The Salmon Life Cycle
The male and female salmon swim up the river that they were born in.
The female finds a safe shallot place in the river where she can lay her eggs. She lays her eggs and then the male salmon fertilizes them.
Then the female pushes new gravel on them. When the eggs hatch they are called Sack Frey. As they grow they will move to the mane stream.
When they are an inch long they are called fingerlings.
They will remember the smell of the stream for when they come back as adults to spawn and die, just as there parents did.
When they start to mature they head back to the river that they were borne in. They will have to go up stream to spawn.
When she has laid her eggs she dies like her parents.
