Today: Last week you recorded notes answering the question: What are some interesting facts you learned about the Great White Shark? Using your edited notes, I would like you to answer the
question in a single and complete paragraph.

edit your response, listen to it, and then have a peer edit it as well. When
you have made all of your corrections, you will copy your blog and post it as
usual. Grade Fives, you have been writing paragraph for several months now. Be
sure to use what you know. Write the best paragraph you can about what you have
learned.

a reminder that a paragraph contains:

topic (promise) sentence: what
you promise to tell the reader about

at least three support sentences (at
least): specific examples or details about your topic

concluding sentence: where you
remind the reader what you promised to tell the reader
The great white shark
ReplyDeleteI have been learning about the great white shark and I learned a lot. The great white shark can be found in Mexico, California, and Australia and is the worlds largest predator under water. The great white shark can grow over 8m long and weighs over 2,000kg and has 300 teeth. The great white shark hunts large fish and does not like the taste of humans but one time a large pod of dolphins killed a great white shark. I have been learning about the great white shark.

ReplyDeleteI learned about great white sharks. They can be found in Australia, South Africa, California, and Mexico. They weigh over 2,000 kg. The great white can be up to 7 meters long. They live to be 30-40 years old. The great white shark comes in three different colors, grey, black and white.
Their favourite foods are seal, whale, dolphin and porpoise. The skin of the great white shark is very smooth. They can attack humans. Those are some interesting facts about the great white shark.

Also the great white shark can go from one meter deep to one thousand meters deep. The great white shark has approximately three hundred teeth. The great white shark does not like humans. They do not like the taste of humans but they only eat them when they are harming the sharks. They live in Australia, South Africa and Mexico. They can grow up to eight meters long and can weigh two thousand kilograms They are in1m deep water. They have three hundred teeth in each row there teeth are very long. There life span is thirty to forty years. They hunt large fish and they are the size of a whale. That is what I know about the great white sharks.

They can grow 8m long and can weigh over 2,000kg.They live in water anywhere from 1m-1,200m deep they have approximately 300 teeth. It is the world’s largest predatory fish and it hunts other big fish. It has no natural predators there greatest threat is the humans. The great White Shark can be killed by large pods of dolphins. That is what I have learned about the Great White Shark.
